Terms of Use

Effective 7 October 2026

Your use of Aqdam is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA). The points below add the details of Aqdam Plus and how to read Aqdam's religious content. If anything here conflicts with the standard EULA, the EULA applies.

1. The app

Aqdam is a habit tracker for iPhone. It stores your data on your device; see the Privacy Policy. The free features are free to use without a time limit.

2. Aqdam Plus

Aqdam Plus is optional. It adds:

  • Unlimited voluntary habits
  • All 15 Companion Paths
  • Season Modes: Ramadan, Dhul Hijjah, Eid, Ashura
  • Consistency insights across every Pillar
  • Every widget, home and lock screen

Aqdam Plus Annual (auto-renewing subscription)

  • Length: one year, renewing automatically each year.
  • Price: the annual price shown in the app and on the App Store before you confirm, in your local currency.
  • Free trial: eligible new subscribers get a 7-day free trial. When the trial ends, the annual price is charged unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. The app reminds you before the trial ends.
  • Payment: charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial.
  • Renewal: the subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Managing and cancelling: in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
  • Unused trial time is forfeited if you buy a subscription during the free trial.

Aqdam Plus Lifetime (one-time purchase)

A single purchase with no renewals. It unlocks Aqdam Plus for as long as Aqdam Plus is offered in the app on your Apple ID.

Restoring and refunds

Use Restore Purchases in the app to restore Plus on a new device signed in with the same Apple ID. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

If Plus ends

Your logs stay on your iPhone whatever your plan. If Plus ends, Plus features stop, but nothing you have recorded is deleted.

3. Religious content

Aqdam shows practices with their sources (Quran references and hadith with their grades) to help you build habits. It is guidance with sources, not a fatwa, and it does not replace a qualified scholar. Rulings differ between schools; ask a scholar you trust about your own situation, including Excused Days, Qada and travel.

The content library is currently pending review by a qualified scholar. Prayer times are calculated on your iPhone with the open-source adhan library and depend on the method, location and adjustments you choose; check them against your local masjid. Hijri dates follow Umm al-Qura with an offset you can set and may differ from your community's sighting.

4. Acceptable use

Do not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app or its content except as the standard EULA or the content licences listed on the credits page allow.

5. Warranty and liability

The warranty disclaimer and limits of liability in the standard EULA apply.

6. This website

The Sahaba pages and other writing on aqdam.app are for personal study and reflection. Hadith are quoted briefly with their collection and number and link to sunnah.com, where you can read them in full with their chains and gradings. If you find a mistake, please tell us through Support.

7. Changes and contact

If these terms change, we will update this page and the date above. Questions: Support.
